During the warm summer months on a construction project the climate can create delays or negatively affect installation of drywall, flooring and other finishing products. DRYCO was called to assist during the construction of a hospital at a state university in Connecticut. Delivering ArcticDRY mechanical dehumidifiers to the jobsite, these temporary units help control moisture and decrease the dry times on plaster, mudding and other products. In addition, by creating a positive air flow of dry, cool air the hospital was reducing the chance of any microbial intrusion by eliminating the warm humid environment within the building.
