California: Another Dam dehumidification job!
Dehumidifying a space inside the Shasta Dam in California
As you can see, moisture surrounds the Shasta Dam in Northern California.  When it came time to make repairs inside the dam, DRYCO was called to control the climate.  With concerns about the moisture levels, it was necessary to use a desiccant dehumidifier during the repairs.

A 2000cfm desiccant dehumidifier was used to control the environment and reduce moisture in portions of the Dam interior.  DRYCO representative Mike Thompson worked with the Shasta Dam engineers in assessing their needs and delivering the proper equipment that would meet the specifications for the work inside the Dam.

Fire/Water Damage - Structural Drying in Connecticut:
A 15,000cfm desiccant dehumidifier and a generator were used to dry the interior of an under construction apartment complex
Following a small fire at this apartment complex, under construction in Connecticut, the interior was saturated with water from the fire hoses and sprinklers.

Derrick Watson
, DRYCO representative in Connecticut, along with lead technician, Charles Carpenter, scoped the job, engineered the setup and monitored the conditions.

Drying the interior wood framing of the apartment unit
With one 15,000cfm desiccant dehumidifier the builder was able to save all of the wood framing and interior furnishings, as well as help prevent mold growth, due to the "deep drying" capabilities of desiccant dehumidification.

Climate Control in Texas:
Temporary climate control during construction provided by a 20,000cfm desiccant dehumidifier and chiller/air-conditioning unit
Dehumidification, heating, air-conditioning and temporary power are all used during the construction process of a new hospital in Texas.  To help prevent moisture and control the climate, a 20,000cfm desiccant dehumidifier and a 30 ton chiller/air-conditioning unit are used.

On another portion of this large project, a 15,000cfm desiccant dehumidifier and additional cooling aid in the climate control and moisture prevention.
